RATIONALE
Succession planning and mentoring are processes of preparing and grooming the workforce for the future. They are safeguards that organisations put in place against shocks and disconnect when skilled personnel or persons holding key jobs leave the organisation, sometimes suddenly. Many organisations are ill-prepared for this relay and inevitably experience shocks, inefficiencies and setbacks. Managers have to develop the competencies to prepare key staff for this transition through planning and mentoring.

This workshop is designed to give participants the orientation and competencies for succession planning and mentoring.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
